PEACE AND BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN WELFARE (PBCW)
Peace and Beautiful Children Welfare (PBCW) is a non-profitable organization in the cause of advancing welfare for the needy children in Nepal. PBCW helps to provide the quality education, food, shelter and other rights for the deprived children with the support from different parts of the world. Initiated in 2007, PBCW has quickly become one of the responsible social organizations committed to look after the well being of underprivileged children in Nepal. As we continue to work for the children, we have also started our sister concern called Milestone Youth Welfare (MYW) in 2012 to support the less advantaged youth.
PBCW & MYW is directly benefiting around 60 children and teenager by providing an opportunity for education, healthcare and empowerment. We have the children from over many remote villages across Nepal, living under the same roof of PBCW girl and boys hostel. We are dedicated to facilitate them with proper education and to uphold their rights. Likewise, MYW works the same way by educating the youth under vulnerable condition as we believe with access to education and skills; they can have a chance to live better lives.
Education empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood because it increases one’s awareness on healthcare to appropriate social behavior to understanding one’s rights and in the process help him/her evolve as a better citizen.
Nepal is known as a beautiful landlocked country surrounded by natural beauties and cultural heritages. It is also the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. Nepal has the world’s highest peak mountain called Mt. Everest. Despite such examples, there are many problems and challenges in terms of education, management, access, relevance and others. Societal discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, economic class etc are still there in various parts of Nepal.
Regardless of all those challenges, PBCW and MYW aims to manifest healthy life and better future for the less fortunate children and youth by providing them a safe place, a caring team and a path out of poverty so that they can grow up healthy, educated, empowered and employed. However, it is not possible without the support. When we join together, we make it possible for many kids and youth from poor background to stay healthy, become educated, and learn skills that empower them and ultimately find employment and make them break free from the cycle of poverty. Sponsorship connects us with a child in need and helps to build a relation and can change life of a child.
Truthfully, we could not do this without the support of Nepal Daughter and Sons (NDS) and our French members and sponsors. We and those we serve, sincerely appreciate your generosity. MILESTONE YOUTH WELFARE (MYW)
Milestone Youth Welfare (MYW) is mainly focused on providing opportunities for the youth after they pass out from their school level to continue their education without disruption. It is being operated as a sister concern to PBCW and was initiated from 2012 in order to support our PBCW children even when they come out from school for their further studies. The main objective is to make them well educated and independent to experience better lives in future. MYW provides these youngsters platform and bridges the gap between educated and uneducated
We have been succeeded to educate almost around 60 number of youth that have been passed out from PBCW and still working for educating more. Youth is a significant group in the world. They are often considered to represent the future as they bring new ideas and energy to add to pool of knowledge that currently exists. They can bring enthusiasm and vitality which can lead to new discoveries and developments that can benefit society or even the world at large.
We are proud to share some stories of our youth in MYW who have accomplished to reach their dream with the support of our donors and members and are doing great in their field of interest.

When he entered PBCW, he was just a small kid hoping for good future and life. His life changed when he started to study under the protection and supervision of PBCW and went to France for further studies.
S. GHALAN
With a dream to serve in medical field, she has successfully completed her study in Nursing and currently working as a Staff Nurse in Alka Hospital, Lalitpur.
K. GHARTI MAGAR
From the very beginning, he was a shy but curious child and wanted to fly high. As a result, he is now pursuing his Auto Pilot Training in Pokhara.
B. GHARTI MAGAR
When he started with PBCW, his enthusiasm to learn more made us feel that this kid has a potential to excel in what he does. Presently, he is in Australia to pursue his further studies.
Likewise, there are many other stories of our MYW youth to be portrayed with the time and their achievements. Some of them are continuing their studies in different private colleges in Kathmandu and some are under internship trainings in different hotels and institutes wishing to make beautiful and memorable journey in future.
